Chris grew up in Roseville, California and enlisted in the Army in 1991. He initially served in Germany and upon returning to California he attended the University of California, Davis.  At U.C. Davis, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilization and a commission as a second lieutenant in the US Army.  After training to become a Field Artillery Officer at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Chris was assigned to Fort Campbell, KY in June 2000.  He served as a Fire Support Officer and deployed to Kosovo prior to transferring to the Signal Corps.  As a signal officer, Chris served with an infantry unit from the 101st Airborne Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Upon returning from Iraq, he attended the Signal Captain's Career Course, at Fort Gordon, Georgia.  He then served as an instructor and company commander at the Signal School.


    He has a wide range of experience managing teams, leading organizations and training leaders. Chris also has extensive experience teaching leadership and technical courses. He has taught classes and given lectures at the United States Army Signal School and at the Department of Military Science at the University of Oklahoma.     


    Chris is currently working towards a Masters degree at the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK in the Department of Philosophy.
