The Wainwright Foundation Memorial Essay Scholarship was originally established with the goals of soliciting thoughtful ideas and a fresh perspective from young leaders on a variety of topics important to the foundation.
The Memorial Essay Scholarship will now memorialize those who are no longer with us but embodied the values of the foundation. Our goal is to tie the personal stories of those being memorialized to a topic which allows essay writers to view leadership and civic responsibility from the view point of each scholarship’s namesake.
